About

About PESHAS

An artisan-owned company keeping Haryana's hand embroidery in working hands.

Our purpose

The value should stay with the maker

PESHAS Handicraft Producer Company Ltd. is owned by the embroiderers and artisans who make its work. For a long time the crafts of Haryana supported families quietly, without the patronage given to other regions. A producer company changes who holds the gains: when the maker is also the owner, fair earnings and steady work follow the skill rather than leaving it behind.

We are sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, whose support helps us reach buyers beyond the local market.

Where we are

Rooted in Ambala

Our home is the Ambala belt of Haryana, close to the Punjab border — a region known for its great cloth market and for hand embroidery admired well beyond the state.

We work in cotton, the everyday cloth of the region, and finish it by hand: Phulkari and Bagh, Kashmiri Kadai, Gota Patti and fine floral embroidery.

How to buy

A conversation, not a checkout

We keep things simple. Browse the collections, then write or call us about any piece. We will reply with price, availability and how to receive it — and we are glad to take requests for colours, sizes and custom work.
